* Playoff Champions
** Regular Season Champions

There have been 33 different team names and 25 different captains and 10 different colors worn in the league thus far.
Team Names
Thirty-three names is a lot over a 10 year span. That’s an average of 3.3 new names per season. Our 4th season had all new team names and our 8th season had none. We’ve had the same name used by two captains twice. Captains Troy MacDonald (4th season) and Travis Haines (5th season) both used the team name “Atlantic CAT”. The name “Blues” has been used by both Kevin Stafford and Andrew Trecartin. Brent McKenna has used the most different names, going with the “Sharks” (7th season), “Unicorns” (9th season), and Baton Rouge (10th season). Darryl Moorcroft is the only captain to win championships with two different team names. The “Leafs” (2nd season) and “Blue Thunder” (4th season). There have been some interesting names over the years. Captain Dan LeBlanc had a certain flare with names like “Hung and Breastless” (2nd and 3rd season) and “Just Look Up” (6th season). This season Tim O’Leary brings out the “Flying Elbows” and Marc Guitard’s “Sasquatches” is another unique name. But I still don’t think anything compares to captain Mike Correy’s “Mike’s Dykes” (1st season). The names, “Collective” (8 seasons) and “Shooters” (6 seasons) have been around the longest.
Captains
Rick Bartlett has been a captain during 9 seasons, which is the most, but Yvon Mayer has been a captain for the most consecutive seasons as he continues for his 7th season in a row. Darryl Moorcroft (Leafs in our 2nd season and Blue Thunder in our 4th season), Rick (Collective in our 3rd and 7th seasons) and Yvon (Shooters in our 5th and 9th seasons) are the only captains to win two championships. Dan LeBlanc (Hung and Breastless in our 2nd and 3rd seasons), Doug Taylor (Cobras in our 1st season and Phantoms in our 6th season), and Tyler Morris (Renegades in our 7th and 8th seasons) were the only captains to win two regular season championships.
Colors
White and red are the only two colors that have been used during every season so far. We had only used six different colors during our first six season. Besides white and red, we used blue, green, black, and yellow. The last few seasons have seen a few different colors such as grey and light blue. Orange has become a mainstay in the past few seasons and Jamie Carson added purple last season. Brent McKenna has used the most vibrant color so far, going with pink last season. He decided to go with red this season. White has been the most successful color, winning four championships (Leafs 2nd season, Collective 3rd season, and Shooters 5th and 9th seasons). Blue has won three times (Blue Thunder 4th season, Warriors 6th season, and Blues 8th season). Players have joked around over the years about a curse on the teams wearing yellow but that team is showing no signs of a curse so far this season. The real curse may lie within red and/or black. Green won the first regular season championship and followed up with a playoff championship. Then black won three consecutive regular season championships and lost in the finals of the playoffs every time. Then white won the regular season,  following up by also winning the playoffs. Then it was red’s turn. For the next three seasons the red team dominated the regular season but failed to win the playoffs. Then last season black was back with a dominating regular season championship but the team fell apart in the playoffs after some unfortunate circumstances. So far this season black continues to lead the regular season, but they have company with the so-called cursed yellow. They are currently in a deadlock for first place, after dominating the rest of the league so far. And just in case we’re wondering, red is currently in 3rd place. As the other teams struggle to keep up with yellow and black, a color curse may be the only salvation for some.
