Fundraiser: Your chance to win $500 and help support David Crossman competing for Team Canada in World Championship

A reminder to bring an extra $10 this week for your chance to win $500 and support our boy, Dave Crossman as he heads to the World Ball Hockey Championship in Slovakia this summer!  $10 buys you a shot at $500 and the numbers are starting to fill up fast:

From previous post:

One of our own has been selected to represent at our country at the upcoming 2020 World Ball Hockey Federation Championship in Nitra, Slovakia. David Crossman, defenceman for the Green Giants, is a rookie defenceman in our league however is no stranger to the ball hockey scene in Fredericton previously competing with Hard as Puck during the existence of the Capital City Ball Hockey League. This is the second opportunity David has had to represent not only our city but also out country on the world stage, previously bringing home silver in 2018. With this accomplishment and opportunity it requires dedication and passion for the game which is evident when playing against David when given the chance.

In order to make this opportunity happen requires certain fees to be covered for things such as flights, hotels, gear, clothing, etc. To help David with this, there will be 100 squares sold each Sunday evening at our games until all squares are sold. Each square will be $10 and once all squares are sold a number will be drawn from David for the winner to receive $500. To help further our own game David will be giving back $100 of the remaining $500 to the league to help with the purchase of new balls, boards, gym cost or whatever the executive deemed necessary. There will be a Bristol board each Sunday night near the time keepers indicating which number(s) have been sold. Please write your name in the corresponding square should you wish to purchase a square; money is not required at the time and can be collected afterwards. Thanks everyone for helping make this happen for David.

You can send Dave an email or pay in cash on Sunday.
