2013 Awards Banquet

We celebrated our 8th season this past Saturday night with our awards banquet at McGInnis Landing. We had a great turnout with at least 33 players and guests. Although the last couple of seasons have been rough on the league, we enjoyed the good news in hearing the league will be coming back to Fredericton next season.

Congratulations to this season’s award winners. The Blues accepted their championship medals, while hanging out by the championship trophy. FUBAR picked up their runner up medals. The committee voted Jamie Carson of the Collective as the league’s MVP this season, along with Paul Richard of the Renegades as the top goalie. Greg Geurts, Paul’s team-mate, won the top scorer award, while FUBAR’s Brent McKenna received the most goals honor. There were also many gift certificates won. There were a few names drawn of players that weren’t present, but I remember Yvon Mayer, Larry Condly, Tyson Taylor, Bruno Dugas, and Evan Bartlett winning. I’m sorry for not remembering the rest.

Thanks to everyone for another good season. We look forward to our 9th season. Take care and stay tuned.
