Two separate locations, both in Fredericton, ten teams, four added teams, two new captains, four old captains, two new colors, three new teams, three old teams, four returning teams, twenty new players, including three new goalies, thirteen players entering their 9th season, and many more players ranging from age 19 to 60 years old. It’s nice to be back in Freddy after a season and a half plus in Harvey. It looks like we’re ready. It should be fun.
We’re expecting a great turnout at both locations, with only a few players unable to start the season. I can safely assume everyone is anxious to get things
rolling.
The first part of the day at Park Street School will feature a couple of games between the Vipers and the Unicorns. Red and pink. Also mixed in on the other earlier games will be Derek Brown’s team, wearing gray. They crossover to the later games and finish with a game against the Collective wearing green. The Collective mix with the other two teams at Park Street, FUBAR and the Shooters, who will play each other twice. Black and white.
The four teams playing at Preistman Street School play a round robin between each other, beginning with the defending champions, Blues against the Barrage. Blue and purple. The other two teams, the Warriors and the Smokin’ Aces will fill out the round robin. Orange and yellow.
Interesting color combinations. It’ll be a colorful league. Someone should bring a camera. Play safe and have fun.
