FUBAR, Warriors, Barrage Go 3-0 FUBAR Hang Onto Share Of Record Rack ‘Em Up Ray
Vipers 6 Shooters 2 – The Vipers got off to a good start with a convincing win over the Shooters. Jim Taylor and Art McCoy led the way for the Vipers each with a hat-trick. Yvon Mayer and Mathieu Vaillancourt scored the Shooters goals.
FUBAR 6 Shooters 3 – FUBAR doubled the Shooters to begin their day. Shawn Kane and Mark Whitlock each scored a pair of goals for FUBAR, while Mike Hossack and James Morrison added singles. Spare Rob scored a pair of goals for the Shooters, while Jeremy Snow added a single.
Blues 6 Vipers 3 – The Blues doubled up on the Vipers to start their week. Mike Moore led the way with a hat-trick for the Blues, while Jamie Williams scored a pair of goals and Justin McKillop added a single. Jim Taylor, Darryl Moorcroft, and Art McCoy scored the Vipers goals.
Blues 10 Shooters 0 – The Blues tied the undefeated games streak record with their 19th. Brandon Leet-MacFarlane earned his 4th shutout of the season and 3rd in as many weeks. Brandon can tie a couple of records with another shutout this coming Sunday. The most shutouts during a regular season and the most consecutive weeks with shutouts. Jamie Williams led the offensive for the Blues with four goals, while Justin McKillop added a hat-trick, Mike Moore scored a pair of goals, and Andrew Trecartin added a single.
FUBAR 4 Vipers 1 – FUBAR won a tight defensive game over the Vipers. Shawn Kane led the way with the hat-trick, while James Morrison added a single. Jim Taylor scored the only Vipers goal to spoil Scott Shepard’s shutout bid.
FUBAR 2 Blues 1 – The game we’d been waiting for. FUBAR won for the first time against the Blues this season and stopped their undefeated streak at 19 games. A win would have broken FUBAR’s record but instead the Blues settle for the share. Shawn Kane scored both goals for FUBAR, including the game winner, while Mike Moore scored the only Blues goal to spoil Scott’s shutout bid.
Barrage 7 Smokin’ Aces 3 – The Barrage got off to a good start this week with a convincing win over the Smokin’ Aces. Marc Guitard led the way for the Smokin’ Aces with four goals, while Jamie Carson scored a pair of goals and Carl Brown added a single. Vince MacDonald, Stephen Rafuse, and Larry Condly scored the Smokin’ Aces goals.
Barrage 4 Fog Devils 3 – The Barrage held on for a tight win against the Fog Devils. Marc Guitard scored a pair of goals for the Barrage, while Jamie Carson and Carl Brown added singles. Spare Joel Thorne scored a pair of goals for the Fog Devils, while Collin Sleep added a single.
Smokin’ Aces 7 Fog Devils 5 – The Smokin’ Aces rebounded with a win against the Fog Devils. Stephen Rafuse led the way for the Smokin’ Aces with five goals, while Tim O”Leary and Larry Condly added singles. Collin Sleep and spare Joel Thorne each scored a pair of goals for the Fog Devils, while James Campbell added a single.
Barrage 8 Smokin’ Aces 5 – The Barrage complete the 3-0 week with a win over the Smokin’ Aces. Marc Guitard led the way for the Barrage with five goals, while Carl Brown scored a pair of goals and Rakesh Rajput added a single. Tim O’Leary led the way for the Aces with four goals, while Vince MacDonald added a single.
Warriors 11 Collective 5 – Warriors got off to a good start this week with a convincing win over the Collective. Ray Chase led the way with five goals, while Jon Loubert scored four goals, and Denis Loubert added a pair. Mike Clarke and Harold Plant each scored a pair of goals for the Collective, while Rick Bartlett added a single.
Fog Devils 5 Unicorns 2 – The Fog Devils won a lower scoring game against the Unicorns. Spare Joel Thorne scored a pair of goals for the Fog Devils, while Collin Sleep, James Campbell, and spare Mark Cress added singles. Greg Geurts and Brent McKenna scored the Unicorns goals.
Warriors 14 Unicorns 8 – The Warriors continue their offensive explosion with a high scoring win over the Unicorns. Ray Chase led the way for the Warriors with four goals, while Jon Loubert and spare Scott each scored hat-tricks, and Denis Loubert and Brian Kelly each added a pair of goals. Brent McKenna led the way for the Unicorns with a hat-trick, while Greg Geurts and Craig Maranda each added a pair of goals, and Trevor Graham added a single for his personal best 6th goal of the season.
Warriors 12 Collective 2 – The Warriors set new offensive records with an easy win in the rematch against the Collective. Ray Chase led the way for the Warriors with 8 goals, while Denis Loubert and spare Scott each added a pair. Mike Clarke and Rick Bartlett scored the Collective goals. Ray Chase set a new record for the most goals and points for a week during the regular season finishing the day with 17 goals and 26 points.
Unicorns 13 Collective 9 – Despite scoring a season high 9 goals, the Collective’s defensive woes continue with a loss to the Unicorns. Greg Geurts led the way for the Unicorns with five goals, while Brent McKenna scored a hat-trick, Craig Maranda and Phil Cronkite each added a pair of goals, and Steve Atherton added a single. Mike Clarke and Harold Plant led the way for the Collective each with a hat-trick, while Rick Bartlett scored a pair of goals, and Rick Haines added a single. The Collective have allowed 70 goals in the past two weeks.
