And here we are once again for another great season. Registration is NOW OPEN and a few things to make note of this season.
We finally have a scoreclock. Yes, that is correct. We have bit the bullet and gotten ourselves a nice piece of kit that will surely fit nicely into our league. No more stop watch non-sense and it’s large enough that there should be no complaining about time and score. As well, it is equipped with a remote for time and score keeping.

Secondly, we are now playing at the UNB South gym. They have assured us that the sticks will not be a problem this year. We will be making it mandatory that all sticks are without tape, so no changes there.
Next, we have committed to only going with 8 teams this season because of numbers. It’s better to have a good list of able and willing spares than it is to go with a couple of short handed teams. This will allow us to fit our hockey into a shorter day and still allow everyone the same amount of floor time as we are looking for 10 players per team.
And lastly, we have some great plans for this season to make it one of the most enjoyable yet. We are going to be inviting everyone that wishes to join in the fun of the draft, we have a new statistics system that is being finalized which will bring more data (Rick will love this) to our league, a new trophy name, and several events in the works throughout the season. Let’s just say we are excited to share those details with you all very soon.
On that note. Thank you everyone for your patience as we have once again run into some hurdles early on with this season, though feel confident that everything has worked out for a reason and we should have one of the best seasons yet.
