Flying Elbows 9 Barrage 2 – The Flying Elbows held a 3-2 lead well into the game, then exploded for 6 straight goals in the last seven and a half minutes. Troy Doyle led the way for the Flying Elbows with a hat-trick, while Tim O’Leary and Jamie Williams each scored a pair of goals, and Vince MacDonald and Travis Muxworthy added singles. Jamie’s first goal held as the winner, his 2nd of the season. Craig Maranda and Collin Sleep scored the Barrage goals.
Flying Elbows 5 Big D 3 – The Flying Elbows built an early 4-0 lead and held on for the win. Troy Doyle scored a pair of goals for the Flying Elbows, while Brian Kelly, Tim O’Leary, and Vince MacDonald added singles. Tim’s goal proved to be the winner. Tyson Taylor, Jeremy Snow, and spare, Greg Geurts scored the Big D goals.
Collective 4 Barrage 4 – The Collective built a 4-1 lead on the strength of Mike Moore’s hat-trick, but had to settle for a tie after the Barrage’s Collin Sleep tied the game with 15 seconds left. It was Collin’s 2nd goal of the game, both scored in the final minute. Wayne Helpard and Darryl Moorcroft scored the other Barrage goals. Carl Brown scored the other Collective goal.
Flying Elbows 4 Collective 1 – The Flying Elbows got off to a quick start after a couple of goals by Justin McKillop, including the game winner, and hung on for the 4-1 win. Jamie Williams and Travis Muxworthy scored the other Flying Elbows goals. Carl Brown scored the only Collective goal to spoil Brandon Leet-MacFarlane’s shutout bid.
Big D 6 Barrage 0 – Big D got off to a quick start with a natural hat-trick from spare Greg Geurts, including the winning goal. Spare goalie Mike Bannister earned the shutout for Big D, becoming only the 2nd spare goalie to post a shutout. Tony Bonnar was the first, earning a shutout with the Collective during our 6th season. Jeremy Snow added a pair of goals for Big D, while borrowed player, Vince MacDonald added a single.
Big D 2 Collective 2 – The Collective got on the board first with a goal by Rick Haines four and a half minutes into the game, but Big D soon tied the game on a goal from Jeremy Snow. The teams remained deadlocked until Rakesh Rajput scored with two minutes left to put Big D into the lead until Carl Brown scored for the Collective to tie the game with 10 seconds left.
Warriors 5 Baton Rouge 2 – The Warriors got off to a quick start after Jon Loubert scored a pair of goals, Baton Rouge got a goal from Brent McKenna to cut the lead in half but Denis Loubert scored a natural hat-trick for the Warriors, including the game winner, then put the game out of reach. Brent added his 2nd goal for Baton Rouge late in the game.
Sasquatches 4 Warriors 3 – The Sasquatches built a 3-0 lead in the first half of the game and held on for the win. Bobby Woods led the way for the Sasquatches with a hat-trick, included the game winner, while Darren Wilkins added a goal. Denis Loubert, James Campbell, and Jon Loubert scored the Warriors goals.
Baton Rouge 7 Shooters 2 – Baton Rouge scored the first 7 goals of the game and cruised to a 7-2 win. Sly Villeneuve got things rolling for Baton Rouge with a natural hat-trick, including the game winner. Ray Chase then put the game out of reach with four straight goals for Baton Rouge. Joel Thorne and Chris Benoit scored the Shooters goals.
Shooters 7 Warriors 6 – The Shooters got their first win of the season after scoring three late goals to take the lead into the final minute. Joel Thorne’s 2nd goal of the game held up as the winner. His first goal was scored 15 seconds after the opening faceoff. Spare Stephen Rafuse scored a hat-trick for the Shooters, while Mike Doucette and Harold Plant added singles. Denis Loubert and Mike Luff each scored a pair of goals for the Warriors, while Larry Condly and James Campbell added singles.
Baton Rouge 6 Sasquatches 2 – Baton Rouge built a 4-0 lead in the first half of the game with four different scorers and held on for the win. Matt Vautour scored a pair of goals for Baton Rouge, while Mathieu Vaillancourt, Brent McKenna, Ray Chase, and Rene Pitre added singles. Bobby Woods scored both Sasquatches goals.
Sasquatches 5 Shooters 3 – The Sasquatches got off to a quick start with a 4-1 lead in the first five minutes, and held on for the win. Darren Wilkins led the way for the Sasquatches with a hat-trick, while spare Greg Geurts and Scott Praught added singles. Greg’s goal proved to be the winner, his 2nd of the day. Chris Benoit, Joel Thorne, and spare Stephen Rafuse scored the Shooters goals.
