Sasquatches 2 Warriors 1 – The Sasquatches hang on for the victory in a
close low scoring game. Bobby Woods put the Sasquatches in the lead almost
four minutes into the game. Sean Keenan doubled the lead almost four
minutes later. The Warriors got one goal back from Jon Loubert to spoil
spare Jeff Smith’s shutout bid and cut the lead to one with 10 minutes
left, but the Sasquatches held on for the win. Sean’s goal proved to be
the winner.
Sasquatches 9 Barrage 2 – The Sasquatches exploded with offense in their
2nd game as nothing seemed to go right for the Barrage. Sean Keenan led
the way for the Sasquatches with a hat-trick, while Bobby Woods, Marc
Guitard, and Bryan Letcher each added a pair of goals. Marc’s first goal
proved to be the winner. Craig Maranda and Collin Sleep scored the Barrage
goals.
Warriors 2 Collective 1 – The Warriors came back with a pair of goals in
the 2nd half for the low scoring win. Mike Luff tied the game for the
Warriors with less than 10 minutes left, then Larry Condly scored, what
proved to be the game winner with 4:52 remaining. It was Larry’s 3rd
winning goal against the Collective in as many wins. Mike Connor scored
the only Collective goal to spoil Tony Bonnar’s shutout bid.
Collective 2 Sasquatches 1 – The Collective played a tight defensive
game and emerged with an upset victory over the Sasquatches. Rick Bartlett
and spare Greg Geurts scored the Collective goals. Greg’s goal proved to
be the winner. He now has five winning goals this season as a spare.
Bobby Woods scored the only Sasquatches goal to spoil spare Paul Richard’s
shutout bid.
Barrage 3 Warriors 1 – The Barrage broke the 1-1 tie later in the game
and went on to a 3-1 win. Collin Sleep, Wyatt Ashworth, and Craig Maranda
scored the Barrage goals, while Denis Loubert scored the only Warriors goal
to spoil Paul Richard’s shutout bid. Wyatt’s go ahead goal proved to be
the game winner.
Collective 2 Barrage 2 – The Collective held a 2-1 lead with less than
20 seconds left but had to settle for the tie after a late Barrage goal.
Spare Greg Geurts and Jim Taylor scored the Collective goals. Collin Sleep
scored both Barrage goals.
Baton Rouge 8 Big D 4 – Big D built a 4-1 lead in the first 5 minutes
but fell apart as Baton Rouge scored seven unanwered goals to turn things
around. Brent McKenna led the way for Baton Rouge with a hat-trick, while
Matt Vautour and Ray Chase each added a pair of goals, and Rene Pitre
scored a single. Brent’s 2nd goal proved to be the game winner. Bruno
Dugas scored a hat-trick for Big D, while Tyson Taylor added a single.
Big D 3 Flying Elbows 2 – Big D scored three goals in the 2nd half of
the game to upset the Flying Elbows with the come from behind win. Bruno
Dugas scored a pair of goals for Big D, including the game winner, while
Jeremy Snow added a single. Brian Kelly and Tim O’Leary scored the Flying
Elbows goals.
Baton Rouge 3 Shooters 2 – Matt Vautour scored the winning goal for
Baton Rouge with 50 seconds left for a close win. Ray Chase scored the
other two Baton Rouge goals, while Joel Thorne and Stephen Rafuse scored
the Shooters goals.
Big D 6 Shooters 3 – Big D built a 4-0 lead with less than 10 minutes
left and hung on for the win. Bruno Dugas led the way for Big D with a
hat-trick, while spare Ian Stevens scored a pair of goals, and Jeremy Snow
added what turned out to be the winning goal. Stephen Rafuse scored a pair
of goals for the Shooters, while Yvon Mayer added a single.
Flying Elbows 5 Baton Rouge 1 – The Flying Elbows gave up the first goal
but tied the game only a few seconds later, then built a good lead before
the end of the game. Jamie Williams scored a pair of goals for the Flying
Elbows, while Troy Doyle, Vince MacDonald, and Brian Kelly added singles.
Vince’s goal proved to be the winner. Ray Chase scored the only Baton
Rouge goal to spoil Brandon Leet-MacFarlane’s shutout bid.
Flying Elbows 7 Shooters 0 – The Flying Elbows cruise to their record
tying 6th shutout victory. Brandon Leet-MacFarlane led the way for the
Flying Elbows, earning his record setting 6th shutout of the season and
we’re still not even halfway through. Justin McKillop took care of most of
the offense with four goals, including the game winner, while Jamie William
scored a pair of goals and Travis Muxworthy added a single.
