Barrage/Fog Devils Go 3-0 FUBAR Celebrated First Place Finish Final Week
Fog Devils 6 Smokin’ Aces 1 – The Fog Devils cruised to a win against the Smokin’ Aces to start the day. Collin Sleep led the way for the Fog Devils with 4 goals, while James Campbell and Ian Lapointe added singles. Vince MacDonald scored the only Smokin’ Aces goal to spoil Mike Sutton’s shutout bid.
FUBAR 8 Smokin’ Aces 2 – FUBAR got started well with a convincing win over the Smokin’ Aces. Shawn Kane led the way for FUBAR with 4 goals, while Ian Stevens and Mark Whitlock each added a pair. Tim O’Leary and Larry Condly scored the Sm0kin’ Aces goals.
Fog Devils 15 Collective 2 – The Fog Devils got an easy win against the Collective. Collin Sleep led the way for the Fog Devils with 6 goals, along with Ian Lapointe who scored 5. Derek Brown added a hat-trick and spare Mark Cress also scored for the Fog Devils as they came within one goal of the record 16 goals by a team in one game, which happened 2 years ago. Spare Darryl Moorcroft scored both Collective goals.
Smokin’ Aces 5 Collective 5 – The Smokin’ Aces finished the day with at least a tie against the Collective, who managed a much needed point in the standings. Tyson Taylor and Chris Benoit each scored a pair of goals for the Smokin’ Aces, while Tim O’Leary added a single. Spare Mark Whitlock scored a pair of goals for the Collective, while Rick Bartlett, Rick Haines, and spare Darryl Moorcroft added singles.
Fog Devils 5 FUBAR 0 – The Fog Devils got a surprising shutout win over FUBAR. Mike Sutton earned the shutout against the regular season champions, while he and Ian Lapointe, who scored a hat-trick, led the way for the Fog Devils, while Collin Sleep and Derek Brown scored singles.
FUBAR 11 Collective 5 – FUBAR rebounded with a convincing win over the Collective to finish their day. Shawn Kane led the way with 6 goals, while Mike Hossack scored 4, and Ian Stevens added a single. Spare James Campbell scored 4 goals for the Collective, while Rick Bartlett added a single.
